While BC Premier Christy Clark is visiting Asia in effort to create new business relations, boost investment in province, advocacy groups are reporting increase in child poverty. Once in the past Christy Clark run on promise to make better future for BC families and children thorough her famous “Family First” agenda, but it seems that agenda either does not works or it is forgotten. According to media reports and to data presented by coalition of advocacy groups British Columbia’s child poverty rate is the highest in Canada, at 18.6 per cent.
